Crewhouse Media is a Cyprus-based film and video production company, formed in 2006 by a group of professionals who had worked internationally for many years before joining forces on the island. With decades of experience, we handle every stage of a production, from concept and filming through to post-production and delivery. We are extremely proud that in all our years we have never missed a deadline.
Our greatest asset is our people. We bring together skilled producers, directors, camera operators, editors, sound recordists, lighting technicians, fixers, designers, animators, photographers, and broadcast specialists, and we build the right team for every brief. Backed by state-of-the-art equipment and our own in-house facilities, our crew go the extra mile to turn complex production needs into seamless results.
Documentary and news production sits at the heart of what we do. We manage research, development, filming, and post-production in-house, covering social, cultural, historical, environmental, and human-interest subjects. This includes sensitive bi-communal stories that call for trust, impartiality, and genuine access across both communities of Cyprus. Films such as Cyprus What If, Running for Peace, The Heritage of Kontea, and In the Service of Peace show our ability
to handle meaningful subjects with care and to deliver work of international broadcast quality.
We are also the local partner that international productions rely on when filming in Cyprus. Drawing on deep local knowledge and access across the whole island, we provide crewing, location scouting, permits, equipment hire, transport, field producing, and full logistical support. Over the years we have serviced programmes such as Top Gear, Johnny Harris's Cyprus, Uncharted, Real Stories' The Wall, Jewels of the Mediterranean, William Shatner's The UnXplained, and Big Zuu's
12 Dishes, along with campaigns for global brands including Carlsberg.
Our client list includes the BBC and ITN in the UK, NOS and RTL4 in the Netherlands, DW, ARD, in Germany, ARTE, Associated Press, and Al Jazeera. We have worked with NGOs such as United World Colleges, ICMPD, Walk of Truth, the Thomson Foundation, and Greenpeace, and we hold a strong track record with United Nations organisations, including long-term agreements with UNDP and UNFICYP and films for UNHCR and OSCE. Our own short fiction films and music videos
have won awards at home and abroad, reaching audiences of millions through festivals and broadcast channels.
Alongside this, we produce our own documentaries and short fiction films, and we are always open to co-production opportunities.
Whatever the brief, we can offer partial or full production support. Our Nicosia base is a comfortable, fully equipped space for any project, from a single interview to a complete series. Whether you are a broadcaster on a tight deadline or an organisation telling its story, we make the process simple, reliable, and stress-free.
At Crewhouse Media, we do more than capture footage. We build stories, solve production challenges, and deliver powerful visual content that connects with audiences wherever they are.
