In the service of peace

In 2024, the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus marked 60 years since its establishment on the island in 1964. On this occasion, the Mission paid tribute to the contribution of its personnel, from the military and police forces of 43 Member States and civilian staff that have served with UNFICYP for the past six decades as well as Cypriots who fight for peace.
