Christina Georgiou (PhD) is a composer and filmmaker, a Berlinale Talents Alumna and Member of the European Film Academy.

She works as a script consultant at the European Genre Forum and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Nicosia and the University of Cyprus. Educated at King's College and City University London, she has trained through programs run by the EFA, Midpoint Institute, Sundance Collab and others. Her award-winning shorts, features and TV work include "Genesis 2:26", "Afterthoughts" and the comedic series "Σημεία και Τέρατα" for MEGA Channel Cyprus. Her directorial debut, "The Stray Story: A Dogumentary" (2021), screened in over 35 countries, won 13 international awards, and streams on major platforms.

Recent work includes the documentary "If you need me, I will fly" (2023) and the AI-themed short "Lout" (2025). She is a minority co-producer of the Romanian feature "Edelweiss".

Christina has been working with Crewhouse since 2012.
